DSP-Explorer, the UK’s ultra-responsive provider of database and cloud management for Oracle, Microsoft, and other multi-cloud technologies, has released its trading update for both Q2 FY21 and the first half of the year.

Q2 EBITDA was a record £1M, showing growth of 45% compared to the equivalent quarter in 2020, off revenues that were up from £4.8m to £6.9m.
Trading was strong across most service lines, but especially its managed service, cloud adoption and professional services business units.

This means that trading for the first half of the year exceeded the company plan with revenues topping £10m and EBITDA £1.6m, with full year expectations now rising to £3.4M.

DSP-Explorer continued to maintain its leading position in the Oracle Partner ecosystem becoming one of the first in Europe to achieve “Oracle Database to Oracle Cloud Advanced Expertise”, with over 10 OCI go-lives in Q2 alone. In addition, the Any Database | Any Cloud proposition was further strengthened through Azure Data Platform and Google Big Query engagements across a 500 strong client base.

The delivery of these extremely pleasing half-year results, and being ahead of our plan, shows the strength of our people and indeed our proposition. We occupy a relatively unique space in the market, with a focus on mission critical databases across any architecture, and due to the investments we have made in managed service tooling, data science and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) we feel able to support virtually any size of organisation. This has helped us win over 50 new clients in the first 6 months, whilst continuing to improve the service we give to existing clients…regardless of whether or not they have decided to move to the cloud.” explains CEO, Simon Goodenough.
