Written by wpdsp | 21-Feb-2019 10:00:00

On July 9, 2019, support for SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 will end. That means the end of regular security updates.

We have arranged this roundtable event which is aimed at companies currently running SQL Server 2008 or earlier. We will be discussing the risks of running unsupported versions of SQL Server, the impact this can have on your business and the steps you need to take when modernising your IT infrastructure. The round table will also allow you to voice your concerns on how to modernise and consolidate your environment and get expert advice from leading industry experts.

We will help you to build a business case to modernise your environment which includes:

  • Identifying and reducing the TCO of your data platform
  • Meeting regulatory compliance and audit requirements
  • Improving profit margin or reducing costs
  • Increasing customer loyalty / improving service experience
  • Entering new markets or acquiring new customer segments
  • Responding to change in markets or customer needs

Data Platform Modernisation focuses on infrastructure investments that will deliver significant value including performance enhancements with new capabilities (such as High Availability) to your data platform causing minimal or no changes required to application layer.

Why attend?

Attending this roundtable will give your organisation the information needed to understand the reasons why support for SQL Server 2008 is coming to an end, and the solution needed to migrate your IT infrastructure to a more current environment. This roundtable is primarily aimed at Technical/Enterprise Architect, IT Manager, CTO, IT Decision Maker, however if you are interested in monderisation please do register.
