In the previous blog post, we highlighted some sessions focused on Aligning Business Strategy to AI. In this post, we want to explore the picks for ‘Secure & Responsible AI’.

This is a wide topic and one that could be interpreted through many different lenses within the organisation, some technical, others not. For example, Risk & Compliance teams will have a very different view from Infrastructure & Platform teams; however, they will both be looking to ensure ‘Secure & Responsible AI’.

For Secure & Responsible, here are some picks:

The AI-Induced Threats looks like a good starting point, which brings in real-world examples combined with practical strategies, which may be an uncomfortable listen but will hopefully provide some ideas and strategies to help you sleep easier at night!

The Oracle Legacy to AI-Ready should also provide some practical advice as organisations look to modernise their estates and effectively enable their data to be utilised by AI. At an Oracle Event last week, I was discussing such strategies. Oracle's defence-in-depth approach gives a head start in terms of AI security. For example, using Data Discovery features to identify sensitive information in databases is a great start.  While the DBA may be the custodian of the database, they rarely understand what data resides in those systems; hence, supporting them, supporting the organisation with tooling to protect the organisation's data assets.
