As of 28th September 2020, Explorer Ltd. are once again eligible to sell our cloud services through the latest iteration of the Government framework G Cloud 12.
Our newly updated service offerings can be found under the ‘Cloud Support’ section of the Digital Marketplace, and detail both our Cloud Application Development Services and Oracle Engineered Systems Managed Services.
G Cloud 12 is the newest version of a government framework, and is designed to simplify the process of buying cloud services for public sector organisations through the Digital Marketplace.
It provides a faster and more cost-effective alternative to entering into individual procurement contracts, whilst giving public sector organisations easy access to thousands of suppliers and tens of thousands of services.
For Public Sector organisations, G Cloud is a vital resource pool through which they can find the right suppliers to fulfil their cloud requirements. Likewise, IT companies that sell through G Cloud 12 are presented with a huge number of potential customers. It’s a mutually beneficial system for both parties within the transaction.
The digital marketplace has also been reformatted with the release of G Cloud 12 in an effort to make the site more user-friendly. Searches can now be filtered to divide cloud ‘Support’, ‘Hosting’, and ‘Software’, suppliers are required to provide a more detailed overview of their services, and the pool of suppliers is growing year on year.
All service offerings on G Cloud are refreshed on a yearly basis, meaning that service offerings remain up-to-date and competitively priced.
Explorer’s fully updated services are available via the G Cloud 12 framework: these include our Cloud Application Development Services and Oracle Engineered Systems Managed Services. For further information about any of our services please contact us at enquiries@explorer.uk.com.
